[Kyoto] "The Monument to Sever and Make Relationships" is a tough place to walk through in midsummer!

I visited Yasui Konpira Shrine in Higashiyama, Kyoto, a temple famous for its prayers for severing and making relationships.

Within the temple grounds is a large "Severing and Making Relationships Monument," and it's said that if you write your wish on a piece of paper and pass through the hole in the monument, you'll be blessed with the blessing of severing bad relationships and finding good ones.

Perhaps because it was a weekday and the scorching heat of summer,
there was only a short line of people waiting to pass through the monument.

I actually went through, but be careful,
because the stones on the surface are extremely hot at this time of year!

There were many tourists, but many also making serious wishes, creating a unique atmosphere.

This is a spot where you can have a slightly unusual experience, even among Kyoto's temples and shrines.

I highly recommend it for anyone looking to cut off bad relationships or reset their minds.
