Honestly, this Yokohama route is a real gem! No crowds, just leisurely strolling and snapping photos—perfect for those who love a laid-back pace.
Start your morning at the Yamate Seven Western-style Houses, beginning from Ishikawacho Station. You'll get to admire beautiful buildings like the Diplomat's House and the British House. Entry is free, and the floral decorations are stunning. The arched windows and interplay of light and shadow make it a photographer's paradise! My favorite spot is the house in Harbor View Park, where the flowers are in full bloom—every photo looks like it was taken in a quaint European town.
For lunch, take a 15-minute walk to Chinatown, where you can feast on ramen, dim sum, and more. You'll leave so full you'll need to lean on the walls! In the afternoon, hop on a bus to Negishi Forest Park. The expansive lawn is perfect for lying down, breathing in fresh air, and waiting for the sunset. It's incredibly relaxing!
Make sure to wear comfortable shoes, as you'll be walking about 20,000 steps without even realizing it! This route has no pressure to rush through attractions, letting you experience a different rhythm of Yokohama. If you love slow travel, this is a must-try!
