Must-dos: Stroll the ramparts of Jiayuguan Pass, climb all the way up the fortress towers, and tackle the Overhanging Wall’s stairs (trust me—worth it for breathtaking shots!). Snap insta-worthy pics at the fortress gates and from the top of the winding Wall, especially at sunset.

Tips: Your ticket covers both fortress and Overhanging Wall—use it to the fullest! Visit early morning or late afternoon for softer light and fewer crowds (plus the walk up the Wall is less hot). The Overhanging Wall is open from 08:00 to 20:00 (last entry 19:30), so time your climb for amazing golden hour photos.
