Galerie Paris Experience: Discovering Contemporary Art in a Retro-Modern Art Space
What is Galerie Paris?
This gallery is located on the first floor of the former Mitsui & Co. Yokohama Building, a historic building along Japan Boulevard. Built in 1911, this nostalgic space, one of Japan's oldest office buildings, showcases works by a wide range of artists, from contemporary art to theater, fashion, and music. The attached shop also stocks unique jewelry and fashion items, allowing you to experience the fusion of art and design. Admission is free.
The gallery is run by Ayako Morita. Founded in 1980, the gallery took root in this beautiful building in 2000. The space, bathed in natural light, is perfect for contemplating the artworks and time in a rich context.
