📍 Destination: Mikasa Memorial Warship, Yokosuka, Japan.
I visited the historic Mikasa Memorial Warship located in Mikasa Park, Yokosuka. This impressive battleship played a key role in the Russo-Japanese War and is now preserved as a museum. Exploring the ship’s deck and admiral’s quarters gave me a glimpse into Japan’s naval past. The nearby park is perfect for relaxing after your tour, with ocean views and a peaceful atmosphere.
💴 Rough Budget:
Around ¥1,500 total — ¥600 entrance fee, ¥400 train fare (round trip from Yokohama), and about ¥500 for snacks or a light meal.
💡 #1 Travel Tip:
Arrive early to avoid crowds and enjoy calm morning views from the ship’s deck. Combine the visit with a stroll through Mikasa Park for a full experience!
