Wandering around Yokosuka-Chuo Station led me to an unexpected gem—Bagel cafe nico. It was one of those lucky finds that makes your day better. Tucked away on a quiet street, this little café had such a warm and welcoming vibe, and the staff were incredibly kind.
I ordered the raspberry ginger ale, which came beautifully layered and needed to be gently stirred to blend the flavors. The sweetness of the berries paired perfectly with the sharp kick of ginger—refreshing and unique! Though I didn’t eat in, I couldn’t leave without trying one of their famous bagels. I chose the cheese & honey flavor to take out, and it turned out to be soft, chewy, and delightfully sweet-savory.
This café seems to be a favorite among locals, and I can see why. The cozy wooden interior, thoughtful menu, and relaxed atmosphere make it an ideal spot for a quiet break or a bagel-to-go. Next time, I’d love to try more from their baked goods menu.
