Wenzhou Nanxi River, a scenic spot that makes me feel very sad. As a native of Wenzhou, I can't wait to tell everyone that a new high-speed railway has been opened in my hometown.
Nanxi River, a major landmark attraction in Wenzhou, finally has a high-speed rail station, "Nanxi River Station".
It’s a pity that such beautiful natural scenery and cultural landscapes are only accessible by high-speed rail! Feeling ignored and left out all the time.
Sharing my trip to the Nanxi River in June this year: countryside, waterfalls, ancient villages, streams, and countless Wenzhou delicacies and snacks, it is especially suitable for short trips for people from Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai.
√ Suitable for: parents and children, self-driving, outdoor enthusiasts
√ High-speed rail: Nanxijiang Station
√ Accommodation: It is recommended to stay in Yantan Town
√ Transportation: self-driving or chartering is recommended
Nanxi River 3 days and 2 nights itinerary:
Day 1:
Lion Rock Scenic Area (bamboo rafting + riverside coffee) - Xibin Park (stream tracing + water play + Internet celebrity bridge) - Lishui Street Night View
Day 2:
Pengxi Village Waterfall (Hiking + Waterfall) - Linkeng Ancient Village - Yantan Town Night Market Street
Day 3:
Taogong Cave (feeding koi and checking in at the cave) - return trip
☑Minor attractions worth visiting:
Taogong Cave
A pool of turquoise water filled with koi. You can buy a bag of fish food for 5 yuan and take a group photo with the koi. The temple in the cave is also full of Zen.
Pengxi Village
There is a vertical waterfall hidden deep in the mountains. No tickets are required for such a view. The hike is not difficult, but there are natural beauty all the way. The scenery from Yantan Town all the way to Pengxi Village is particularly healing.
Linkeng Ancient Village
In the distance, smoke and clouds outline the mountains, and in the near distance, yellow beams and green tiles enchant the world. When the lanterns light up after nightfall, it feels like you have arrived in the world of "Spirited Away".
Creekside Park
The name sounds ordinary, but the actual experience is very nice! You can play in the water barefoot, which is very suitable for camping or parent-child activities. You can also take beautiful photos facing the wooden bridge and swings!
