Just got back from a trip to Xiangxi😜
Here are a few must-see attractions:
1⃣Fenghuang Ancient Town
Several Xiangxi-style covered bridges, such as the Snow Bridge, Rainbow Bridge, Wind Bridge, Mist Bridge, and Cloud Bridge, connect the two sides of the ancient town.
Fenghuang Ancient Town is not too big. You can walk across the five covered bridges along the Tuojiang River to see the whole town.
You can also take a boat on the Tuojiang River and pass through the covered bridges from the waterway to get a closer look at the stilt houses on both sides.
Then visit the former residence of Shen Congwen, Wanming Pagoda, Rainbow Bridge, and Jumping Rock.
To see the night view, go to Nanhua Bridge. When the Snow Bridge and the ancient town are lit up, you'll feel like you're back in the Tang Dynasty.
2⃣Furong Town
The filming location of the movie *Furong Town* is a real ancient town with a history of over 2,000 years.
3⃣Rebala
"Rebala" means "beautiful place" in the Tujia language.
A Y-shaped covered bridge connects three original Tujia ancient villages, "one bridge connects three regions."
A few minutes' walk away is the film and television base "Rebala Palace" on the other side, with its unique architecture and magnificent momentum.
There are not many people here, so it's perfect for taking photos.
4⃣Dehang Miao Village
"Dehang" is a Miao word meaning "beautiful Grand Canyon." This primitive village is located at the foot of the Grand Canyon.
Walk through the Miao village and go upstream, or take a car to see the stunning Liusha Waterfall.
