An ancient town standing on a cliff - Furong Town

Furong Town is located in Xiangxi, Hunan. You can take the high-speed rail from the New Fenghuang Ancient Town or from Zhangjiajie West Station. It takes about 15 minutes to take a taxi from the high-speed rail Furong Town Station to the Furong Town Scenic Area. You need to pay an entrance fee to arrive at the Furong Town Scenic Area.

Furong Town (Yongshun County), formerly known as Wangcun Town, is a town under the jurisdiction of Yongshun County, Xiangxi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, Hunan Province, China. It was named after the movie "Furong Town" was filmed here. It was renamed Furong Town in 2007.

Furong Town is built on both sides of a cliff waterfall, and tourists can stroll from one side of the cliff to the other. If you are visiting Fenghuang Ancient Town, it is recommended that you take a side trip and choose to walk from one side of the cliff to the other side, which takes about an hour to go back and forth. Since Furong Town is a scenic spot, tourists can visit it as a scenic spot, which only takes about half a day.
