Longxian Waterfall 🌳

We visited Longxian Waterfall on a warm summer morning and were immediately captivated by its dramatic beauty 💧. As we hiked along the forested trail, the roar of water greeted us through the trees like a dragon’s breath coming alive. When we finally reached the falls, the cascade plunged over rugged rock into a crystal pool below, mist dancing in the sunlight and casting tiny rainbows around us ⛅️ 🪨 🌲

What enchanted us most was the magical legend that surrounds it: over a thousand years ago, during Emperor Taizong’s era, soldiers camped here found water emerging from the cliffs like a dragon’s salivary whiskers whenever clouds rolled in hence the name “Dragon Saliva” Waterfall. Walking through the cool spray and hearing the waterfall’s rhythmic rush, we felt both energized and soothed. We left with smiles, carrying the waterfall’s gentle power and mythical echo with us 💦 🌳
