Find Your Senses: Exploring the Site of Reversible Destiny Yoro Park

Site of Reversible Destiny
養老天命反転地 Yoro Tenmei Hantenchi

There’s a place in Yoro, Gifu prefecture where reality bends—literally.
Welcome to the Site of Reversible Destiny within Yoro Park, an immersive art park created by contemporary artist Shusaku Arakawa and poet Madeline Gins.

Based on the bold concept of "reversing destiny" and "overcoming death," this surreal landscape challenges your body and perceptions at every turn.

Sloped grass that looks flat. Outdoor spaces that feel like indoor rooms.
Every assumption you have about space, balance, and movement is turned upside down.
Here, even “getting lost” is part of the art.

The experience stirs both curiosity and disorientation, leaving a lasting impression.
Just make sure to wear comfortable shoes—this is less a museum and more of a sensory obstacle course.
