[Kagoshima] Yoron Island - Enjoy the ocean off Yoron with a boat entry!

The season when you can swim in the sea on Yoron Island is generally from May to October.

You can also go in the water outside of these seasons, but the water is cold and you will need to wear a wetsuit.

Also, the "mysterious white sand beach" that represents the spectacular scenery of Yoron Island, "Yurigahama Beach", appears from spring to autumn at low tide from mid tide to spring tide.

However, please note that it does not always appear.

We went to Yoron Island in early November.

The water temperature was just about warm enough that you could still dive in just wearing a swimsuit.

We participated in a snorkeling tour that allows you to enjoy a full day of boat entry.

We went out to sea from Oganeku Beach and were taken to a spot recommended by the captain.

We were also able to swim with sea turtles.

We were able to land on Yurigahama Beach, but it was not low tide enough to be called a white sand beach.

Still, you can enjoy a boat entry snorkel tour to your heart's content.

There are many marine companies that organize tours.
