Zhangjiakou Matianling - Nuanquan Ancient Town - Weizhou Ancient City - Feihuyu One-line Sky Three-day Tour

✺ Be sure to check the weather in advance before going to Matianling to avoid rainy days, because Matianling is not a tourist attraction. The path up the mountain is made by people walking and is not easy to walk on. The road is covered with gravel and slippery, so it’s best to wear hiking shoes or shoes with good grip. If you are not physically strong, climb slowly. Matianling is already at a high altitude, and if you push yourself too hard at the start, you may feel unwell. Walk slowly, no need to rush. There are no steps, only slopes, and climbing too fast is unsafe. The scenery along the way is quite nice. Remember to set your navigation to Matianling, not Beigou, or you will be taken to Beigou Village.
✺ Nuanquan Ancient Town has a strong sense of history, with houses made of earth. Once inside, you instantly feel like you’ve gone back several decades. It is also the filming location of the TV drama "Drawing Sword." If interested, you can visit. I went during summer vacation; the crowd was not large, so the experience was okay without feeling crowded. However, the sanitation was not good, no cleaning staff were seen, and the restrooms were quite disappointing.
✺ Weizhou Ancient City has many points to complain about. Although there are a few attractions, they are scattered and hard to find. The ancient city is not like a traditional one; it has food, drink, and entertainment, but almost all the shops sell electric bikes, with no ancient city atmosphere at all, let alone places to eat or have fun. The experience was poor.
✺ Feihuyu One-line Sky is a very tall large rock and a popular photo spot. The visit lasts only a few minutes, but the scenery along the way to Feihuyu is very beautiful.
