Yilan County Yuanlin Township Cherry Blossom Viewing and French Cuisine Day Trip

The itinerary is a one-day trip to Yilan Yuanshan Township, including cherry blossom viewing on Denggao Trail and enjoying French cuisine at a scenic restaurant.

Denggao Trail is known as the Cherry Blossom Trail. Originally an industrial road for transporting fruits, it is lined with various cherry trees. It is a popular trail in Yuanshan Township, Yilan County. The trail is flat and easy to walk, with a total length of about 3.5 kilometers, taking about 3 hours for a round trip.

Both sides of the trail are covered with cherry trees, and you can enjoy cherry blossoms along the trail in early spring. On clear days, you can also overlook Turtle Island from the highest point near Shuangyue Lake.

After strolling along the trail, head to the pre-booked French cuisine scenic restaurant, Ye Fu Chui Yan, for a meal. Except for the main dishes of venison or lobster, which need to be ordered 3 days in advance, other dishes can be ordered on the spot. The charcoal-grilled food has a unique aroma, and the appetizers are beautifully presented. The dining environment is beautiful, and although it is a bit pricey, the delicious taste makes it worth it. The restaurant is located deep in Yuanlin Township, and you need to drive there yourself. 🚗
