Hong Kong's Pseudo-Japan Trip: Check Out the 7-Story Aviary Pagoda in Yuen Long Park

This episode continues to take us around Yuen Long Park

[Bird Tower - Blue and White Revolving Staircase]
The blue and white spiral staircase inside the Hundred Birds Tower is a famous photo-taking hotspot. It looks beautiful whether photographed from below or from above.

Built on the 30-metre-high Buffalo Ridge, the Hundred Birds Tower is the tallest building in the vicinity and has become a prominent symbol of Yuen Long Park.

The 7-story observation tower is 30 meters high. When you walk to the tower, you can see the entire city of Yuen Long. Looking further, you can also see Ping Shan, Xia Chuen, Shiba Township and Tin Shui Wai.

The lowest level of the observation tower is the first open Hundred Bird Garden, with an open aviary of 85 square meters on the ground floor, and planted with a number of varieties of trees, shrubs, and potted plants to simulate the jungle environment and make the birds feel like they are in nature.

There are more than 100 birds in the Hundred Birds Tower, with more than 30 different species, including orange-bellied leaf eagle, black short-legged eagle, green-backed golden dove, red-billed acacia, painted eyebrow, Javan grass bird, black pillow yellow eagle, black-headed yellow eagle, wax-billed starling, brown-necked eagle... and so on.

Some birds can still talk - for example, HELLO, good morning and BYEBYE

[Crossing the Waterfall]
The park also has many beautiful features such as the butterfly pavilion, fountain, lake center pavilion and waterfall. Crossing the tidal cloth is a beautiful photo spot

[Limited Time - Flower Arch]
There is a flower tunnel in Yuen Chau Estate in Cheung Sha Wan, which is a famous photo spot, and there is a beautiful flower arch opposite Yuen Long Park near the swimming pool. Most importantly, there are not many people, so you won't be photographed.
