Free-entry attractions Baizhangji and Yandang Mountain visited

Mountain lovers rejoice! With your arrival flight ticket to Wenzhou, you can enjoy free admission to select scenic areas. During Dragon Boat Festival, we visited two 5A-rated attractions: Baizhangji and Yandang Mountain. Among Yandang's four classic spots, Dalongqiu Waterfall and Lingfeng Peak are free, while Fangdong Cave and Lingyan require tickets. As the sites are scattered, three days are ideal for both (though quite leg-tiring).

Day 1: Arrive in Wenzhou - 2hr taxi to Baizhangji - 3hr visit - 1.5hr taxi back to downtown.
Recommended route: Enter at North Gate, exit at South Gate (downhill), passing First, Second then Third Cascades in order. First and Second Cascades are most photogenic (p2-5).

Day 2: 0.5hr bullet train to Yandang Mountain - 3hr at Dalongqiu & Lingfeng - overnight stay.
Lucky to see Dalongqiu with abundant water after heavy rain.
Lingfeng's observation deck leads to two cave temples (p1,6-10).

Day 3: 3hr at Fangdong & Lingyan - return trip.
Enter via Fangdong for less climbing (Lingyan ascent is exhausting).
Fangdong features two viral-worthy cafes and a suspension bridge. The connecting cliffside plank path between sites is stunning (p11-14).
