Stay 5-star at Nora Buri Resort & Spa

We had a transfer from Samui Airport. We informed them of our flight schedule, and two staff members from Nora Buri Resort & Spa met us at the airport, holding signs with our names. There was a slight typo, but it wasn't a big deal. The van was a large van, so we just handed our luggage to the male staff member and got on. The only other guests in the van were our group, including the two staying at the hotel. On the way to the airport, the resort stopped at Lotus for snacks. The staff were very friendly.

Check-in
We arrived and waited about 30 minutes for our room, which wasn't too long considering our early check-in time. A golf cart picked us up and took us to our room.

Room
We booked a Deluxe Hillside Seaview room for 4,500 baht per night for two consecutive nights. You have to go up to the second floor to get a Deluxe Hillside Seaview room, but if you're staying on the ground floor in the same building, you'll get a Deluxe Hillside room. The bedroom is spacious, and the bathroom is even larger. The view is partially blocked by buildings, but it's not completely open, but you can see out to the island in the middle of the ocean. The atmosphere is even better as the evening falls. Order room service and enjoy the view while you eat. It's a great experience.

Bathroom
There's a large bathtub that fits two people. I recommend bringing a bubble bath for a more relaxing soak. The shower quickly switches from cold to hot.

Breakfast
The food is quite varied. Bread, eggs, and salad are the same both days, but savory dishes like Thai curry change daily. There's also an Indian curry section, which is delicious with roti. There's also a vegetarian section with a good selection of cheeses. The Thai desserts are always fresh and varied. It's filling and doesn't feel like you need to go out to a cafe.

Swimming Pool
There are two pools in total. We've tried both, and I like the lower pool the best. The upper pool is perfect for ordering drinks and sipping at the bar counter in the water. As evening falls, the sky turns blue, matching the color of the pool and the sea. The atmosphere is wonderful. I was a bit confused about the towels, as they're placed on cushions, but there's no basket for throwing them away. The staff told me to just leave them on the cushions and they'll clean them up.
