Transportation
First take the train, then transfer to the bus to Mount Yufu.
Yufuin Station is located on the Kyudai Main Line and offers express train services to and from Hakata and Beppu. Take the bus from Yufuin Station for about 20 minutes and get off at Yufu Tozanguchi Station.

Hiking trails
After crossing the green land and forest, you will come to an intersection where you need to choose which mountain you want to climb.
The eastern peak is suitable for beginners and takes about 2-3 hours to reach the summit, while the western peak requires physical fitness and skills to climb, including the use of ropes and chains, and may take 4-5 hours to climb to the summit.
