The name ‘Kinrinko (金鱗湖)’ comes from the fact that the scales of fish swimming in the lake look golden when the sunset reflects them.
In fact, there are gold-scaled carp living in Kinrinko!
The lake is said to have warm water temperature because hot spring water is mixed in it😊
In winter, Kinrinko Lake is said to have fog rising from the water due to the difference in water temperature and air!
