Lake Kinrin, located in a naturally rich area of ​​Yufuin, is one of the most famous tourist spots in Yufuin.
It is said that in 1884, Confucian scholar Mori Kuso named it "Lake Kinrin" after seeing the fish scales in the lake shining in the sunset, as it is a pond located under Mt. Yufu.
There are walking paths around the lake, and you can watch the fish and waterfowl swimming, making it the perfect place for a stroll.
