Eel Feast on the Way Back from Hakone!

Eel, Unagi, U-N-A-G-I! On the way back from our trip to Hakone, we decided to indulge in some delicious eel! Thanks to a coupon, we went all out and ordered a feast! Haha. At Hyorokutei, their famous eel clay pot rice is a must-try, so we chose that. The generous portion of eel really got us excited! It was perfectly grilled, aromatic, and absolutely delicious 😋. Compared to the usual eel rice bowls, which sometimes feel a bit lacking, this dish was incredibly satisfying! If you ever get the chance, you should definitely visit! The restaurant is located inside Fujiya Ryokan, so you can also enjoy the charming and traditional atmosphere around the inn. On the way back, we even went orange picking 🍊 for dessert! Haha. And with that, our Hakone and Yugawara trip comes to an end! What a luxurious journey!
