Miwa Yugawara is an adult hideaway nestled in the quiet mountains, about an hour and a half from the city center. It is a luxurious inn with a tranquil space like a museum, even though it is located in the lush hot spring town of Yugawara. The architectural design is a sophisticated fusion of Japanese and modern. The first thing that greets you when you step inside the building is a bar lounge integrated with a water basin. At night, the water surface is lit up, allowing you to enjoy a drink in a fantastic atmosphere. This time, we stayed in the "Kidachi Twin" room, which is symbolic of its white circular open-air bath. The greenery of the trees outside the window and the bathtub wrapped in soft light. All rooms are equipped with an open-air bath with natural hot spring water, so you can enjoy the hot spring as many times as you like. The interior of the room is minimalist yet warm, and the high-quality space makes use of the texture of wood and stone. You can feel the luxurious attention to detail. In addition to the "Kidachi Twin," there is a lineup of room types to meet a variety of needs, including the 80-square-meter corner suite "Miwa Suite" and the "Sansui Twin" with an oval open-air bath. All rooms are designed with an open space that gives a sense of privacy, allowing you to spend time away from your daily life and calm your mind.

Dinner and breakfast are served at the attached restaurant. You can enjoy course meals and Japanese meals made with plenty of local ingredients. The truffle rice served at the end of dinner is especially delicious...! It is also luxurious to have the chef shave the truffles right in front of you :)🍴

Approximately 8 minutes by taxi from JR Yugawara Station. Take the bus bound for Okuyugawara/Fudotaki for about 6 minutes, get off at the "Ryoukyo" bus stop, and walk for 10 minutes.
