Jinming Lake

We stumbled upon Jinming Lake just as the late afternoon light began to soften, turning the water’s surface a gentle gold. It wasn’t crowded just a few people walking slowly along the shoreline, some sitting quietly on benches, lost in their own thoughts. The whole place had this still, spacious feeling that made us immediately slow down too.

As we wandered along the edge of the lake, the breeze carried the faint scent of grass and water. Willows leaned over the path, and the ripples on the lake caught the light like brushed silk. There was something comforting in how simple it all was no big attractions, no rush. Just space to breathe, to walk, to look out across the water and feel quietly grounded.
