It was my first time to visit the Northern Shaanxi Folk Song Museum. It seemed that it had only opened in the past two years. I thought it was difficult to display this kind of intangible cultural heritage, but I was completely amazed after the visit.

The furnishings are very rich, and a guide was invited to talk about the history of folk songs in northern Shaanxi. The most exciting thing is that when a well-known piece is introduced, an actor immediately sings a song with both voice and emotion. It is so wonderful.

If you are interested in northern Shaanxi folk songs, you will not be disappointed and highly recommended.

The Folk Song Hall is much grander and has a very complete range of materials. After reading it, I found that during the revolutionary period of our party, we firmly grasped the folk songs of northern Shaanxi as a mass publicity and education weapon with twice the result with half the effort. At that time, we carried out a series of folk song compilation, cultivation and publicity work. The information was compiled early and in detail.

The museum is a separate building with very few visitors. When we finally saw it, we found that it was a key project created by the Yuyang District Committee and District Government.
