Relaxing Forest Getaway at Howard Resort Xitou

#chinatravel Stayed one night at Howard Resort Xitou in Nantou County, Taiwan and it was a super chill experience. The resort is tucked right next to Xitou Nature Education Area, so you’re basically surrounded by forest and fresh air. The room was clean and comfy with big windows looking out at the trees, which made waking up extra peaceful. The vibe is a little old school but still cozy and relaxing.

Staff were friendly and helpful, and check-in was quick and easy. Breakfast had a decent variety of local and Western options, nothing fancy but it got the job done. The best part was just being able to walk straight into the nature park from the hotel. Perfect spot if you want to take it slow, enjoy some quiet, and breathe in that mountain air. Great for a short escape from city life. Would totally come back for a weekend reset.
