Yulin Folk Art Street

#chinatravel

At night, Yulin Folk Art Street transforms into something intimate and full of character. The warm glow of red lanterns lights up the intricate wooden facades, and the air hums with the sound of laughter, music, and soft footsteps on stone. The shops are still open. We found a small tea shop tucked behind a curtain of beads, and sat outside with a pot of hot jasmine tea. From there, we could see kids playing with glowing toys, couples taking photos, and artisans still quietly carving or painting by lamplight. It felt like the kind of place that holds onto its soul, even in modern times. We stayed longer than we meant to, wrapped in that soft light and peaceful rhythm.
