In winter, I go to this underrated place

Winter in Lijiang is my favorite. As a southerner, the dry climate here is perfect for me. On sunny days, wearing two layers of clothes is as comfortable as autumn. However, if you plan to go to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain 🏔️, you need to wear a down jacket. Fortunately, there are shops at the foot of the mountain where you can rent one. Scarves 🧣 and hats 🧢 can also be easily bought in the ancient town.

The wind on the mountain is strong, and even on sunny days 🌞, the temperature is still low, making it feel cold. The water in Blue Moon Valley is still crystal clear, and the blue lake and snow-capped mountains complement each other, making you want to stay there for a while.

Yuhu Village at the foot of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain now has a minibus service directly from the ancient town. We visited it on our way to Baisha. The former residence of American explorer Rock is located here, and it is said that he lived here for 27 years.

Yuhu Village is small, and you need to buy a ticket for the electric car to enter. The houses in the village are all made of stone. There are two coffee shops in the village, which are picturesque and very suitable for taking photos, but the prices are a bit expensive.

In addition to visiting the village, you can also take a walk to the nearby Longnv Lake, which is a small lake and grassland, and you can also enjoy horseback riding. If time permits, you might as well go there.
