I heard that it is a long-established local brand that has been open for 10 years and has several branches
There are quite a lot of people during lunch time. I see locals come to eat at their place
I came in with the mentality of giving it a try, and it didn't disappoint me

🍲Copper Hot Pot
It should be a local specialty, the whole street is filled with this kind of hot pot
Ordered a pot portion is really plenty😂
It has a savory and fresh flavour, with cabbage on the bottom and covered with meat
The pastry absorbs all the broth, soft on the outside and tender on the inside~ One bite is so fresh that it drops your eyebrows

🥘 Alfalfa shredded meat
As it turns out, when we arrived in Shanxi, we ate sweet and sour flavors
A good dish to go with rice, salty with a hint of acetic acid
Freshness burst! The wood ears are soft and crispy, and the eggs are fried until they are fluffy
Seasoned with spring onion, the taste is quite top-notch, it's great to eat with rice

🌯 Sauce meatloaf
It tasted a bit different from what I imagined, not very fond of it
Although the crust is very thin, the baked is soft and charred
But less fluffy and too thin for me
The sauced meat is not my favorite taste, it's more like cured pork
There is no soy sauce and spring onion sauce flavor, the name is a bit misleading

I ordered this place simply because the shop is called congee shop · Shanxi cuisine
I have to say, this bowl of congee is cooked really well! It's soft and smooth
Lotus seeds, red beans, peanuts... and other eight ingredients are indeed very tasty
Slightly sweet and sweet taste, it can be served with hot pot, and it goes perfectly with biscuits
