The museum houses more than 20,000 cultural relics and specimens, and has eight basic displays, including the Paleontology Hall, the New and Old Stone Age Hall, the Bronze Hall, the Porcelain Hall, the Painting and Calligraphy Hall, the Modern and Contemporary History Hall, the Culture and Art Hall, and the Tobacco Hall, as well as a temporary exhibition hall, with an exhibition area of ​​more than 5,000 square meters. There are seven permanent theme exhibitions, which fully display the rich and colorful natural and cultural history of Yuxi, deeply explore the local cultural resources, highlight the local cultural characteristics, and are splendid and fascinating.

In August 2024, I came to Yuxi for a stay again, and of course I checked in at Yuxi Expo again. It is still so great. Yuxi has a long history, brilliant civilization, and different customs of multiple ethnic groups. The collision between them is so gorgeous and dazzling.
