Visit the Former Residence of Wang Yangming and Follow in the Footsteps of the Great Sage

The Former Residence of Wang Yangming, also known as Shoushan Hall, is located on the north side of Longquan Mountain in Yuyao, Ningbo, Zhejiang Province, on the north side of Yangming West Road, west of Wusheng Gate.
The moment I stepped into the Former Residence of Wang Yangming, I felt as if I had traveled through time and space to the magnificent Ming Dynasty. The simple architectural style and tranquil environment made me forget the hustle and bustle of the city and brought me unprecedented peace of mind.
The Wang Yangming Memorial Hall houses a large collection of documents and historical relics related to Wang Yangming. The illustrated displays gave me a deeper understanding of Wang Yangming's life and his philosophy of mind. The exhibits that record his life and deeds, in particular, gave me a sense of the wisdom and magnanimity of a great thinker.
