Cherishing the scenery around you is truly a good time!

Having stayed in this small courtyard of Jianglai Xiaozhu for years, I have gradually come to understand the truth that "beautiful scenery doesn't require traveling far."

I used to think about seeking scenery in distant places after the peak season, but now, taking a walk along the riverside path every morning fills me with contentment.

In late spring, the loquat tree in the backyard of the guesthouse is full of green and yellow fruit. Guests sit under the tree drinking tea, looking up at the branches laden with sweetness;

On summer nights, the river breeze carries the scent of reeds onto the terrace. Looking up, you can see a starry sky three times brighter than in the city. Occasionally, the lights of fishing boats flicker on the river, adding more charm than distant scenic spots.

Even the early morning mist in late autumn is especially enchanting. The river is shrouded in white, and as the sunlight slowly penetrates the fog, the reeds on the opposite bank turn golden and red. Guests keep taking photos with their phones, reminding me of the original intention of choosing this place to open the shop — isn’t it all for this kind of peace within reach?

Now, when guests say, "We came specifically to seek the river view," I always smile and reply, "Look, just open the window and there’s the view. Why go far?"
