Zhangjiajie National Forest Park

Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, located in the Wulingyuan District of Zhangjiajie City, Hunan Province, China, was established in 1982 as China's first national forest park. It covers a total area of approximately 130 square kilometers and was registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1992 as part of the Wulingyuan Scenic Area.

While the hike is mostly hiking, there's an elevator available for a quicker ride to the summit. It's often crowded, so it's recommended to arrive early, make a reservation, and hire a guide.

Yuanjiajie: Home to the "Qiankun Pillar," the inspiration for "Hallelujah Mountain" in the film "Avatar," as well as spectacular views such as the Mysterious Spirit Platform and the First Bridge beneath the Heavens.

Tianzi Mountain: Enjoy views of the sea of clouds and strange rock formations, as well as views of the Imperial Brush Peak and the Fairy's Floral Offering.

There are dedicated buses to the scenic area from Zhangjiajie West Station or Zhangjiajie Station.
