🔥Huangyao is an ancient town with a history of nearly a thousand years. It originated in the Song Dynasty and was built in the Ming Dynasty.
It first flourished during the Wanli period of the Northern Dynasty and reached its peak during the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty. Since most people in the town have the surnames Huang and Yao, it is named "Huang Yao".

Transportation
High-speed rail: Take the high-speed rail to Hezhou Station. After exiting the station, you can transfer to the tourist bus that goes directly to Huangyao Ancient Town, or share a car. The journey takes about 1 hour.
Self-driving: About 4 hours from Guangzhou, about 3 hours from Guilin, navigate to "Huangyao Ancient Town Scenic Area Parking Lot".
Airplane: You can fly to Guilin Liangjiang International Airport first, then take a bus to Hezhou, and finally arrive at Huangyao Ancient Town.
