Take advantage of the mild weather for an autumn outing!
I've been to Qixingyan twice, having climbed three of the rocks and roughly toured some areas below. Lately, I keep seeing posts about the wetland park, so this time I headed straight for it.
tips: We entered the scenic area through the east gate and climbed the first rock with stairs right at the entrance. Instead of going back the same way, we took a different path to the south gate. When we saw the sign for the north gate, we headed straight there, passing by the now-closed amusement park (which was still open when I visited in March last year), and then it seemed like there was only one small path. We followed it and saw a moon-shaped monument with 'Xinghu Wetland' written on it. Without hesitation, we went in and found many small paths, but if you keep walking inside, you can see the forest.
The forest is really beautiful for photos, I really like that lush green feeling.
After our visit, we saw the north gate. Just outside, there are Guangdong University of Finance & Economics and Guangdong Polytechnic Normal University. If you have friends there, you can go in for a visit.
