Shijiazhuang | A seriously underrated travel resort hotel.

You absolutely cannot miss Shijiazhuang, this northern city is simply a hidden gem in the travel world! As the capital of Hebei Province, it has been overlooked for too long. Check out my notes, trust me, this "city brought by train" will definitely add a new member to your travel list.


We chose to stay at the Hutuo River Art Eco-Island Resort Hotel, and the experience was simply amazing! There are 27 Nordic-style villas here, scattered along the banks of the Hutuo River and among the trees, each with its own garden, as if you were in a "Swedish town" in Shijiazhuang. From the hotel entrance to the lobby, the path is lined with flowers, crabapples, magnolias, and purple-leaf plums blooming in full bloom, and you can also see the blue sea-like water of the Hutuo River, the holiday atmosphere here is simply perfect!


We stayed in a riverside king room, although it was only 40 square meters, the space was spacious and comfortable for two people. The huge panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows allow you to enjoy the beautiful view of the lakeside manor from the bed, which is amazing! The room facilities are complete, with intelligent guest control system, fresh air system, mini bar, coffee, and high-quality toiletries. The next day, there was also a breakfast delivery service, with a wide variety of nutritious options.


After checking in, we went to the Hutuo River Art Eco-Island, where the scenery was breathtaking. The pink buildings, lush greenery, and the clear Hutuo River are simply a paradise on earth. We walked, took photos, and felt the charm of nature, as if we were in a fairy tale world.


So, don't hesitate, Shijiazhuang is definitely worth a visit! Add it to your travel list and come and experience the unique charm of this city! You definitely can't miss this awesome event during the May Day holiday! Sunbathe on the beach, then eat meat at the barbecue campsite, and then party all day on the tens of thousands of square meters of lawn, doesn't it already feel great? But that's not all! I heard that there is also a hot air balloon-themed carnival and a peacock flying southeast event, which will definitely be the highlight of your holiday!


In addition, there are many hidden treasure check-in points around the hotel, waiting for you to discover one by one. For example, you can drive to the south gate of Zhengding City Wall, which only takes 21 minutes; or go to Kaiyuan Temple, which takes 25 minutes; if you want to go to Rongguo Mansion, it takes 26 minutes; and Longquan Ancient Town is a little farther, it takes 56 minutes. No matter where you want to go, there are convenient ways to make your trip easy!
