Old but still robust, online service! Experience of the suite at Sofitel Zhengzhou International Hotel

Sofitel Zhengzhou International Hotel opened in 1999. With the recent withdrawal of Sofitel Jinan, it is now the oldest existing Sofitel in China! The hotel is well located, next to Zijingshan Park. The lobby is visually striking, and the lights at night create an artistic atmosphere on the dome. The hotel management is dedicated, the staff is diligent. They contacted before check-in, asked about the experience at check-out, the welcome fruit was super abundant, the lounge was quiet and well served, and the room was cleaned timely and carefully. Despite the aging hardware of the old hotel, overall, the superior location, affordable price, and the enthusiastic and thoughtful staff all leave a deep impression!
The hotel is located in the city center, about half an hour's drive from Zhengzhou International Airport, 10 kilometers from Zhengzhou East Station, both accessible by subway. It's about a 7-minute walk from the subway station, a bit far.
The basic room was booked, and the front desk lady upgraded it to an open suite, a small suite.
The room I stayed in this time has a view of Zijingshan Park and the main road, with a relatively open view.
The room is of moderate size, the decoration style is a bit dark, but overall it's quite comfortable! Especially the big bed and bedding are soft and comfortable, I like it!
The bathroom is separated from the wet and dry, each functional area is separated, and the bathtub is also very large! The amenities are Lanvin, TWG tea, capsule coffee, which enhance the overall level of the hotel.
The executive lounge is located on the top floor of the hotel, serving afternoon tea and happy hour. The variety of afternoon tea is not much, but the quality of happy hour is relatively high, the cold cuts, hot dishes, desserts, and fruits are all very good, the lady in the lounge speaks softly, the service is in place, and thoughtful.
Breakfast is located in the sunken lobby on the first floor, the environment is good, the freshly made dumplings and noodles are very good. There is a special member dining area, although unmanaged, it also shows the importance of members!
