A trip to Shaolin Temple in Songshan, Zhengzhou, Henan

It takes about two hours to get to Zhengzhou by plane from Shenzhen. Another hour's drive will take you to the famous Shaolin Temple. Shaolin Temple is at the foot of Mount Shaoshi. This time we booked a Zen Hotel located inside the temple.

I have watched many movies about Shaolin Temple since I was a child, so I was very excited to come here this time. I first watched a martial arts performance and then took a cable car to visit Songshan Mountain. Unlike the dangerous towering peaks of Mount Hua, the ones here are magnificent and breathtaking.

It takes more than 10 minutes to walk from the hotel to the mountain gate. You can visit Mahavira Sutra, Medicine Master Pavilion, etc. There are so many tourists, it seems that everyone is fascinated by the charm of Shaolin!

After arriving in Zhengzhou, I took a taxi to Luoyang's Luoyi Ancient City and stayed in a hotel for one night. There was a loft for just over 400 yuan, and I could also rent costumes for taking photos, which was a lot of fun. #Zhengzhou #Shaolin Temple
