Iconic Icon — Old City of Zhenyuan

The Old City of Zhenyuan (镇远古城) is a famous ancient town in Guizhou Province, China. Its iconic feature is the Wuyang River that winds gracefully through the old city, with traditional houses, ancient stone bridges, and green mountains on both sides.

One of its most iconic landmarks is the Zhusheng Bridge — an ancient stone arch bridge that beautifully connects both riverbanks and has a traditional pavilion on top. The bridge, calm river, old wharf, and Ming-Qing era buildings together create Zhenyuan’s postcard-perfect look.
