Zhenyuan Ancient Town: A Thousand-Year-Old Ink Painting by the Wuyang River

Zhenyuan Ancient Town is located in the Qiandongnan Miao and Dong Autonomous Prefecture in Guizhou Province, where the Wuyang River flows through the town in an "S" shape, creating a unique Tai Chi panorama. This famous cultural city, with a history of over two thousand years, is known as the "Key to Dian and Qian" (Yunnan and Guizhou). The ancient buildings are constructed along the mountains and river, with grey bricks, dark tiles, and upturned eaves, resembling a peaceful and distant ink wash painting. Stone bridges, ancient roads, riverside stilt houses (diaojiaolou), and temple complexes on the mountain jointly narrate the long history and rich cultural heritage of this ancient town, making it an unforgettable place to visit.
