When I first heard of Zhan Garden, I mistakenly thought it was related to Sun Yat-sen. It is actually a "filial piety garden" built by fellow villagers in Australia for their mothers. The garden's white walls, gray tiles, curved corridors and lotus ponds combine the elegance of Jiangnan and the grandeur of Lingnan, and you can feel the ancient charm as you stroll through the garden.
Must-see highlights:
• White Swan CP: A pair of swans in the pond are the elves of the park. When feeding, they often put their necks together in a "❤️" shape. Remember to capture this romance!
• The beauty of ancient buildings: The Nine-Curve Bridge connects the Shuange Pavilion. Carved brick walls and leaky landscape designs can be seen everywhere between the flying eaves and flower windows. Wearing new Chinese-style clothing is very photogenic.
Practical Tips:
📍Tickets are 60 yuan, it is recommended to buy online for discounts; parking is convenient if you drive by yourself, and it is about half an hour's drive from the city.
📸After 3pm, the light becomes soft, which is suitable for taking pictures by the water in the "Poetry and Painting Boat" or capturing the swaying lotus shadows in front of the "Qingyuan Hall".
Although it is a little far from the city, it is less crowded and quieter. When swans paddle across the lake and sunlight shines through the columns, time seems to stand still here. It is suitable for you who like ancient style and slow travel.
