| Qijiang Park, Zhongshan. - Basic Info: Located in the heart of Zhongshan city, adjacent to Shiqi River to the east, Zhongshan Road to the west, Zhongshan First Bridge to the south, and Fu Hua Hotel to the north. This theme park was transformed from the former Guangdong Zhongshan Shipyard site and opened in October 2001, covering a total area of 11 hectares (including 3.6 hectares of water surface) with 3,000 square meters of buildings.
- Design Concept: Incorporating Western environmentalism, ecological restoration, and urban renewal principles, the park preserves original plants, structures, and tools while applying modern artistic techniques to reinterpret the site's industrial heritage, making it a successful model of industrial site conservation and adaptive reuse.
- Main Attractions: The Amber Water Tower features a glass shell encasing an old water tower with a luminous top for nighttime navigation; the Skeletal Water Tower was redesigned by stripping concrete to expose steel reinforcement, later reconstructed with steel at original scale. Other highlights include the "Red Memory" installation art and Zhongshan Art Museum with industrial-inspired architecture.
