🚗 Transportation Guide
You can first arrive at Zhongwei, Ningxia, then head to the Tengger Desert Study Camp. Zhongwei has convenient transportation options, including flights and trains. If you choose the train, Zhongwei South Station is the closest station to the camp. Upon arrival, you can contact the camp for pick-up and drop-off arrangements or rent a car locally to drive there yourself.
🎯 Highlights of the Study Camp
1. Desert flora and fauna exploration: Lizards 🦎 and more
2. Straw grid sand control experience: Let children understand the importance of ecology‼️
3. Exciting desert entertainment activities
⭐️ Desert dune buggy: Ride a dune buggy racing across the sand dunes, feel the speed and thrill, with screams echoing as you plunge down from high points—super exciting, kids will definitely love it!
⭐️⭐️ Sandboarding: Sit on a sandboard and slide down tall sand dunes, with the wind rushing past your ears, enjoying the thrill of speed. Sandboarding is safe and fun, perfect for parent-child experiences.
◦
⭐️⭐️⭐️ Camel riding 🐫: Follow the camel caravan strolling through the desert, feel the steady pace of the "ship of the desert," as if traveling back to the ancient Silk Road, appreciating the vast desert scenery.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Desert camping and stargazing: Spend the night in a special tent, lying in the desert and gazing at the vast starry sky, with the Milky Way seemingly within reach. At this time, parents can identify constellations with their children, listen to the sounds of insects and wind, and enjoy a warm and peaceful parent-child moment. This will be an unforgettable memory in the child's growth.
💡 Helpful Tips
1. Prepare enough drinking water; the desert is dry, so timely hydration is very important.
2. Bring some snacks for the children to replenish energy during breaks.
3. The desert temperature is low at night, remember to bring warm sleeping bags or thick blankets for the children.
