Before going, I didn't have high expectations.
But! But! But!
It completely exceeded expectations as a hidden gem for summer escapes, family fun, and relaxation.
Just sitting by the Carp Stream enjoying the breeze felt incredibly comfortable and soothing.
The sky was so blue, the water crystal clear, surrounded by lush green mountains.
It even felt slightly chilly in the morning and evening—the temperature was just perfect!
Carp Stream: The world's only "human-fish symbiosis" wonder, ticket 25 RMB.
Carp Culture Theme Park, a Guinness World Record site, with clear streams winding through the village.
Puyuan Village: A thousand-year-old ancient village.
Over 200 Ming and Qing dynasty houses, with an average summer temperature of 22.7°C, surrounded by high-altitude forests—dubbed the "natural air-conditioned city."
Jiulongji Waterfall—East China's No. 1 waterfall, ticket 55 RMB (free for those born in the Year of the Snake).
The largest waterfall I've seen, with a 300-meter drop.
Watch the sunrise at Xianfeng Mountain.
If you're lucky, you might see a sea of clouds—but you'll need to wake up early.
Hotels range from 100+ to 300+ RMB.
Self-driving from Fuzhou to Zhouning costs 104 RMB in tolls.
My husband said he didn’t want to leave.
We’ll definitely come back.
A treasure destination worth revisiting countless times!
