Miaozihu Island is the main island of Dongji Town and also the largest one. It has complete living facilities. The homestay restaurants are built according to the island, and they are in order. Looking from the shooting location of 'See You Again', it really has the flavor of the Palace of Potala on the sea. It is also the only island with sightseeing cars. See the map of the island at the end. The sightseeing car departs from the passenger terminal and the main attractions in order of stops:
1️⃣Dongxiang Pavilion: There is a Beixi Wharf down the road which is closer to the sea, but there are only rocky cliffs here without a beach.
2️⃣Dongji Pavilion: The best choice for watching the sunrise early in the morning, the scenery here is excellent. It takes about 20 minutes to walk from the homestay.
3️⃣The shooting location of 'See You Again': The place where the house in the movie was burned down, now it's a rebuilt cafe.
4️⃣Statue of Cai Bo Gong: This statue also appeared in the movie.
5️⃣Internet-famous Lighthouse: You can get there by going down from the statue of Cai Bo Gong, people usually come to drive you away around 5:30. Take photos as early as possible.
6️⃣Attractions reachable by walking: Dongji History Museum, The Second Hometown of Soldiers, etc. There are also some cultural and creative shops for you to explore.
🏠Accommodation: The higher the location of the homestay, the better the view, and the higher the price. The air on the island is humid, the air conditioner needs to be dehumidified, and even the camera is foggy the next day
🍤Food: Mainly seafood, the taste is similar, just choose one with a good view and a reasonable price. There are many bars and barbecues at night.
🎫Sightseeing car ticket: 88RMB/person, from morning to around five in the afternoon. You can get on the bus at every stop of the loop line.
📍Drones: Unlimited, but do not approach the military base.
