Zhoushan | One-day self-driving tour from Shanghai to Zhujiajian

🚗 Self-driving: Depart from Shanghai Qingpu Outlets and arrive at Zhoushan Dongsha Beach. Depart at 10:00 am and arrive at 2:00 pm. The total time is 4 hours (15-minute stop at the South Bank Toll Station and 15-minute traffic jam due to an accident). The highway fee is 217, charging fee is 76, and parking fee is 12, totaling 305.

✍️ Self-driving route
From Shanghai Qingpu, take the Hukun Expressway - Shenhai Expressway - Hangzhou-Shaoxing-Ningbo Expressway - Yongzhou Expressway - East-West Expressway - Dongsha, passing through the Hangzhou Bay Bridge. There are charging piles at every service station along the way.

1⃣️ Dongsha Beach
Parking is 6/hour, and there are charging piles. November is the off-season, and the ticket is 10/person. You can buy tickets by scanning the code at the visitor center. The shower room is only open from May to October, and the restaurant on the beach is also closed. You can surf. There are luxury hotels on the beach, and there are many restaurants after leaving the scenic area, at the exit of the parking lot.
2⃣️ Xiaowushitang
It should be beautiful in good weather. There are many homestays, and you can stay for one night. It is not big, and you can also take a one-day tour.
3⃣️ Zhangzhou Scenic Area
A fishing village with many restaurants where you can buy freshly caught seafood.
4⃣️ Guanyin Dharma Realm
Pass by and take a look. It was too late to go in.
The above routes are all along the coastal highway. If the weather is good, you can stop and take photos at any time. It is so beautiful.

🍴 What to eat
You can't miss seafood in Zhoushan. I chose the chain restaurant "Mama's Cuisine", which is cost-effective. The average price for two people is 75, and the taste is very good. I will come again with my friends next time.

🛏️ Where to stay
I stayed at Zhoushan Global Hotel, which offers free parking and breakfast. There is a business district nearby, so it is convenient for dining and shopping. The hotel also has a swimming pool, gym, and laundry room, and the service is very good.
