First time here, I was really a bit surprised to find such a hotel hidden among the mountains and waters🌴 yet still standing tall in the heart of the city in Zhuhai.🏡🏡

MGM Reserve is the new favorite under MGM, focusing on "Exquisite China · Brilliant Contemporary," combining the style of an international brand hotel management with the experience and design concept showcasing Chinese culture. The first location is in Zhuhai.🏡🏡

The hotel is located at the foot of Phoenix Mountain🌳, with Xiangshan Lake in front and lush tea hills behind. Covering more than 70,000 square meters, it only has 147 rooms and villas, which is quite spacious.

Walking into the high-ceiling lobby, you are greeted by the feeling of a grand Chinese residence. The ceiling is stunning, with red light sources shining through hollowed diamond structures, giving a gentle yet firm sense of ceremony. The central emerald green square table is a highlight🌸, with strong contrasting colors creating distance and contrast.💖💖

Looking back at the design team, including Lingnan design master He Jingtang and Hong Kong’s CCD Design Office, they often combine traditional cultural elements (screens, wooden grids, red ceremonial colors) with modern materials, lighting, and spatial composition. This approach is also seen in nearby Shenzhen’s Nanshan Shangri-La and Hangzhou’s Diaoyutai. The MGM Reserve’s chosen design team clearly presents the brand’s RESERVE concept embodied in Lingnan.

Passing through the lobby, you truly see the most outstanding part of this design: the Lingnan🌴 garden! The landscaping makes you slow down, with pavilions, towers, small bridges over flowing water, and cascading waterfalls, offering delightful surprises at every turn.😘😘

Then turning around, not far away are super modern clusters of high-rise buildings. During my two days there, it rained, and the sound of raindrops falling on the lake view🌴 and outdoor pool was quite soothing, giving a very concrete sense of tranquility amid the bustle.🌷🌷🌷

The hotel just opened, and not all rooms are completed yet, but there are many options: the standard mountain view rooms are already spacious, and the villas all have private courtyards.🌻 Many villas with private pools are still under construction.

Opening the door leads to flowers and water sounds🍀🌸, making it a great weekend getaway spot for friends from Hong Kong, Zhuhai, and Macau.🌴🌴🌴

👉 Dining is another highlight. Pinju·Zhuhai offers a collection of Cantonese dim sum🧁🥪, seasonal hot pot🥘, and stir-fried dishes, including the pig stomach chicken hot pot made with sunflower chicken from Panyu Million Sunflower Garden in Guangzhou;

Fangfei Garden feels more like a garden-style Western restaurant🍸, serving high-quality Western cuisine from morning till night.👌🏻👌🏻
