Scenic Spot Introduction

Lotus Mountain: Located 15 kilometers east of Yeliguan, the main peak stands at an altitude of 3,578 meters. It combines elements of danger, uniqueness, tranquility, and beauty. Named for its resemblance to a blooming lotus flower, it is also known as "Western Kongtong" and serves as a sacred site for both Buddhist and Taoist traditions.

Ye Hai Lake: Situated 5 kilometers north of Yeliguan at an altitude of 2,610 meters, the lake stretches 5 kilometers in length. Its picturesque scenery is complemented by the Changye Temple on its shore, locally referred to as "Changye Pool." In winter, the lake's frozen surface features unique ice patterns.

Red Cliff Valley: Located 5 kilometers west of Yeliguan Town, this distinctive ochre-colored world extends 20 kilometers deep. A creek runs through the valley floor, flanked by crimson sandstone formations sculpted into various intriguing shapes by wind and rain erosion.

Giant Reclining Buddha: Found south of Yeliguan Town, this natural wonder is formed by a mountain range stretching approximately 10 kilometers. The figure lies east to west, with clear contours and a serene expression, showcasing nature's artistry.

Transportation: From Lanzhou, drive via the Lan-Hai Expressway and then switch to National Highway G248 for about 2 hours. Alternatively, take a direct bus from Lanzhou South Bus Station to Yeliguan Town.

Tickets: Ye Hai Lake - 60 RMB/person, Red Cliff Valley - 60 RMB/person, Lotus Mountain - 30 RMB/person, Forest Park - 78 RMB/person.

Accommodation: Yeliguan Town offers various lodging options, including hotels, guesthouses, and homestays.

Cuisine: Enjoy local specialties such as tsampa, butter tea, hand-grabbed wild pig, and air-dried yak meat.
