The ancient city ruins of the Qi State are not located in Zibo City itself but in Linzi District, which is under Zibo's jurisdiction. This area is rich in historical relics and archaeological sites, making it a great spot for history lovers to explore. The museum primarily showcases artifacts unearthed from the ruins of the Qi State's Linzi City and the royal tombs of the Qi State, along with some relics from other historical periods. A detailed visit can take about 3-4 hours. The museum's facilities are well-constructed, and since 2019, entry has been free with prior reservation. Among the exhibits, you can find Han Dynasty pottery figurines, chariot figurines, and clay models of houses. There are also Qi State knife-shaped coins, Northern Wei stone Buddha statues and tomb stone gates, Shang Dynasty bronze artifacts, and a relatively larger collection of Qi State relics from the Warring States period. Currently, the museum displays over 4,100 labeled artifacts, offering a comprehensive view of Chinese history and the cultural heritage of Zibo.
