The body is back, but the heart is still in Chenzhou—it was absolutely breathtaking!

✅ OMG, guys! You won’t believe how amazing our family trip to Chenzhou was! So much fun, though many attractions aren’t in the city center, so make sure to plan ahead!
🏠 Homestay: Pusuke·Guoliu
📍 Located right by Dongjiang Lake, just a 5-minute drive to Little Dongjiang. The moment we stepped in, we were blown away! The common area has this Instagrammable vibe with lush plants and bold color schemes—every corner is photo-worthy 📸. The owner was super sweet, even hand-drew a travel map for us and recommended some hidden gems!
💫 We stayed in the Starlight Room
❣ At night, we could literally lie in bed and gaze at the stars!! With automatic curtains + floor-to-ceiling windows, we woke up naturally to sunlight 🌞. My bestie stayed in the retro-themed room, which was also stunning—the color palette was so pretty, we couldn’t stop taking pics!
🌊 Itinerary
DAY1⃣:
✔ Little Dongjiang Morning Mist: We headed out at 6 AM! The mist over the river lived up to its fame—the fisherman’s net casting looked like a watercolor painting.
✔ Bailang Cycling: Went in the afternoon—breezy lakeside vibes, and the photos looked like we were at Erhai Lake!
🍽 Lunch at Xiaozhiwei—Dongjiang fish was tender and delicious 😋! The beef cubes were *so* juicy, my kid ate half the plate.
DAY2⃣:
✔ Feitian Mountain Bamboo Rafting: The Danxia landforms were spectacular, and my kid was thrilled!
✔ Yangtian Lake: Green grasslands, windmills, and little sheep—felt like stepping into a fairy tale.
🍽 Dinner at Slow Fire BBQ—the spicy stone-pot fish was addictive! Must-try: chilled rice wine, so refreshing.
▪ Little Dongjiang requires an early start, but totally worth it!
▪ The homestay had great soundproofing—slept like a baby.
▪ Chenzhou cuisine leans spicy, so ask for less heat if needed.
