Bajiaozhai Scenic Area 2024 Travel Guide

📍Location: Datuo Village, Meixi Town, Ziyuan County, Guilin City, Guangxi Province
🚗Transportation: From downtown Guilin, take a bus to Ziyuan County Bus Terminal, then transfer to a bus to Meixi Town. After getting off, take a local motorcycle or minivan to the scenic area. If driving, navigate to "Guilin Bajiaozhai Ziyuan Danxia National Geopark".
👍️Must-see attractions:
- Bajiaozhai Main Peak: At an altitude of 818 meters, it is the highest point in the scenic area. You can overlook the entire scenic area and surrounding mountains. When the area is shrouded in mist, it looks like a fairyland.
- Longji Ridge: Resembling the back of a dragon, it winds and spirals with stunning scenery along the way.
- Teary Eye Stone: Resembling a teary eye, it has a unique shape.
- A Kiss for a Thousand Years: Two huge stones lean against each other, like a couple kissing.
- Tianren Walkway: Built on a cliff, it is thrilling and offers a close-up view of the Danxia landform.
- Snail Mountain: The peaks in the distance resemble sea snails, which are very cute.
- Dragon Head Incense: The most spectacular corner of Bajiaozhai, it is hundreds of meters long and less than 10 meters wide at its narrowest point. It is a popular incense-burning spot.
🎟️Tickets: Adult tickets are around CNY 60–100. Please refer to the scenic area for the actual price.
💗Other tips: The roads in the scenic area are rugged. Pay attention to safety and do not enter undeveloped areas without permission. The roads are slippery in snowy weather, so prepare non-slip shoe covers. In cold weather, keep warm and bring high-calorie snacks.
